Accountability Oil & Energy

Development should never come at the cost of human dignity or community rights. Our Accountability Hub delivers rigorous, evidence-based journalism exploring the systemic friction points that too often accompany large-scale infrastructure, extractives, and commercial agriculture projects in Uganda.

We investigate unresolved land claims along major transit pipelines, corporate displacement tests, and environmental degradation. By giving a platform to field testimony and independent documentation, we highlight where compliance breaks down and hold large operators accountable to the communities they impact.
